In the previous article, reference was made only to the first of the content success indicators, Engagement. Two other very important factors to take into account, and which today grip thousands of Instagram users concern Reach and Impression.
It is so difficult to create content that can record high Reach and Impression rates, so simple is their definition and difference.
But let's start with the Reach. The question to ask is only one: how many INDIVIDUAL people have viewed your content? This means that no matter how many times each individual user will view the content, the number will only refer to the single person.
Obviously there are many strategies that allow you to obtain a greater flow of content views. Increasing the Reach of a post is commonly achieved through the payment a sum of money that allows you to sponsor the content and make it, therefore, more visible.
The definition of Reach is closely related to that of Impression, but be careful not to confuse them!
The Impression allows you to calculate the number of times a content has been viewed even by the same user. This means that this number will take into account every time that the same user will view the same content, even if, for example, first from a computer and then from a smartphone or tablet.
It is therefore easy to understand how generally the value of the Impression is superior compared to that of Reach.
Disclaimer required: the values described above are indicators common not only to Instagram, but also to many other online platforms, for which the characteristic elements of each platform will be added to the calculation.
