There is a real difference between Followers And Community? For many we are talking about the same thing, and this is only partially true.
Followers and Community are two concepts represented by the same number, but the difference it is in some respects abysmal.
If the Followers simply represent the number of users who have left the Follow to your profile, the Community is a much broader and more complex concept.
As we all know, Followers are never fully active, or rather, your profile will never consist of a total of fully participating profiles. There will be more or less interested people who will interact with your content in more or less various ways.
The Community, on the other hand, is made up of that part of people who are interested in the topics and content you produce and communicate with you, but also with other interested users, for example under posts.
This should already be enough to understand that the real question to ask a potential Influencer is "do you have your own Community?" instead of "how many followers do you have?".
In fact, the main problem is to establish if the number of Followers faithfully reflects your Community.
How many times have you felt obsessed and pressed byInstagram algorithm? How many times have you tried the most disparate tricks to try to be rewarded by the algorithm?
There is a much easier way to make a career on Instagram: take care of what you do and the people you are addressing.
Numbers are meaningless if you don't recognize people behind those numbers. And the first step to being successful is to recognize a value to individuals behind the screen.
Only then will those same people understand the value and effort behind your content as well they will reward you by building loyalty.
It's a kind of mutual exchange: everyone gives something and everyone benefits from the results.
But how is a community created?
Aside from the gratitude towards the people who follow you, an extra effort is needed in order to understand what types of content interest you most who follows you.
Once you understand the top topics it is always necessary to put yourself in one equal position with its audience, in order to cultivate the reality of exchange that has been created over time. In this regard, some tips we can give you are:
- always ask for feedback on your work and your content;
- take the time to always reply to everyone;
- give advice but above all accept the suggestions of others;
- put the suggestions into practice in the best way.
